Yea but when clemson faces better talent they need to be able to get more offense from other players besides KJ! Roper is 5'10 and hard to get a shot off. They need more out of Rod Hall and Blossomgame. Hall isnt playing confident. He looks very timid about taking shots out there. You see the outcome when everyone contributes, when they played Duke. They need more of that down this ruff road stretch.Go tigers

While I will take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day, I'm afraid there is such a thing as an ugly win...and an ugly basketball team. If there is an uglier team in the NCAA, please tell me who they are. I will have to see it to believe it. For me, I have to turn off TV. This team will not have significant success w/o a half court offense, and they have none, zip, nada, zilch. And if you have decided to walk the ball up court together with no half court offense, then you have made a conscious decision to NOT HAVE AN OFFENSE. It's no surprise we can't score points. I'm venting via a win, as it sounds like whining to state these facts via a loss. I went to the Christmas tourney in Charleston, and the lack of a half court offense was GLARING. As it was very early season, I knew the coaches would address this. I was wrong. OUT.

Define "significant" sucess

Shoot you posted OUT before you could respond. Also, it appears that Georgia Tech is an uglier basketball team at the moment. Glad you missed the victory.

Have you noticed that we have a front court with virtually

no offensive skills at this point?

Nnoko is getting incrementally better, but honestly, it's tough to get a half court offense going when the other team can largely ignore your inside game.

To win by a comfortable margin, We have to shoot well and many nights we just don't ... for whatever reason.

It's got very little to do with coaching and a lot to more to do with poor execution.

And yet ... and YET ... her we sit at 15 wins and tied for 3rd in the ACC!

While they might not be skilled

They make it really hard for other teams to score in the paint as well. We are better at playing ugly basketball than most teams.

I get what you guys are saying

but remember this team was picked next to last in the conference. I'd say Brownell has done a heck of a job. Yes this team needs to improve but I'm pleased as to where we are and what we've done.
