Since FL beat miami and were nunber 8,

Aug 26, 2019, 1:45 PM

Does this mean since they are in the SEC,should they jump to number 2? Any ACC team the tigers beat are always weak but when an SEC team plays the ACC, i figured it would be a win against an up and coming powerhouse. Dang this is so complicated.

No, but Miami should be top 15 if Florida is 8th.

In other words, Florida at 8 is a joke, but we all knew that.

It just means that the team picked to lose to Virginia lost to the team picked to lose to Jawja

Here is how it works

SEC team ranked #8 ekes out win over ACC team means..."this is what SEC teams do...beat tough opponents at a neutral site, even though they didn't have their best game - move them up to #5"

Same middling ACC team loses to same #8 SEC team in same game at same neutral site means..."the ACC sucks; Florida played their worst game of the season, made 14,000 mistakes, and still won - Miami and the ACC are a fraud"

Somehow this game made the SEC better and the ACC worse

I'm guessing they move up to #5.***

All the talking heads are saying Miami won’t lose again because of the easy ACC schedule and Florida will only win 8 against the tough SEC schedule. What if Miami loses 3-4 ACC games, which they may very well do, and Florida only loses 2 SEC games? To me that is probably what will happen and it’s just another crack in the SEC foundation.

SEC foundation?

That just means that the wheels have come off the trailer
