and it's more fun than any of the cities currently in the ACC. Lubbock and Manhatten are about the same as Blacksburg, Winston Salem and Syracuse in terms of my interest in visiting.

Nope, but I've never been to Syracuse, Winston-Salem, College Park, or Charlottesville, nor do I have any interest in going to any of these places.

What does going to Lubbock or Manhattan Kansas have to do with our football program having the opportunity to realize its full potential (while avoiding the ultimate downfall of the ACC as a football conference).

then you can just sit those trips out and enjoy the 4-5 home conference games we'll have every year, the 2-3 home non-conference games we'll have every year, the traditional trip to Tallahassee every other year, the trip to Morgantown every other year, the trip to Cluckerland every other year, the trip to a cool city like Austin every now and then, the trip to Dallas every now and then, and the trip to see a legendary college football program OU in Norman every now and then.
Just skip the lame trips to the Little Apple and to Lubbock and you'll be fine with all of the above options. I promise.

My questions to those fans. How does Clemson end up actually making money from a move to the Big 12? First thered be a buy out fee. Second theres more then football to think of how does Clemson cost effectively pay for transportation for all sports. Third is anyone actually realizing all of those long travel games would make it one of the hardest conferences in the nation to win in. This is college football not the pros the players are students they have to balance school and practice and wouldnt travel time actually cut into practice time if your team has to travel to Kansas or Oklahoma?

So, we've got a long history of having our way with USuCk. If the rest of the SEC decides that Clemson and FSU are going to generate more money in one way or another don't you think UF and USuCk would consider that?

Where would the money come from so that SEC teams don't take a pay cut? First of all, the SEC won't expand unless it means MORE money, not the same or less, to their current members. The networks are not going to pay out that kind of money for markets that the SEC already occupies.

It certainly comes down to money.

But the if the total supply of money is limited then it may be a matter of staying on top and taking less of a pay cut.
I wouldn't say never, ever.

Money is not limited because advertising costs are passed on to the consumer. In the end, we all work and live for and on money. Yes, I will say it. Clemson will never, never get into the SEC. Ever.
