"Dance ability"? Strutting?

Don't have David Lee Roth on your list? Turrible.
Axl Rose, when he was on his game and not throwing temper tantrums, was one of the alltime frontmen (allegedly, GnR shows today are almost as good as their best stuff in the 80s).
Also, Scott Stapp, Darius Rucker, and Chad Kroeger. C'mon, man.

How big an umbrella is Rock & Roll? All those are great,

would add:
For struts and badassness: - Chuck Berry - Little Richard - Jerry Lee Lewis - The afore mentioned Elvis. Not a fan, but Elvis.
Didn't need to: - Either Allman - Leon Russell - Eric Clapton
Chuck just a badass. Travelled with shaving kit and a guitar case, carried both on the plane. The contract said a band had to be ready to play Chuck Berry songs. He would show up as the band was playing the intro the first song, and stand off stage until the promoter paid him in cash. Would then walk on and do the show. This was back when promoters ruled. Badass.

A guy I know here in RH who was a fairly successful session

drummer in LA for a while did a couple of those hitch gigs with Chuck Berry over the years. He said the first time he played behind him the band met Chuck Berry about 30 minutes before the gig and asked if he wanted to brief them. Said Chuck looked at them, said "you just follow me with straight rhythm and don't get in my way" and that was that. The band played Chuck off the stage and they never saw him once they finished the last song. He had his check in hand, jumped in his car and was gone.

Throw in guitar players that sing and you've got even more
but that's just me - I like to watch and listen to women strut and sing over dudes any day.
