Uhh no, the fact that we have had to deal with this product on the floor for 14 years with no change is the unfair part

BB has had ample time to bring the Clemson program to a higher level. It's pretty easy to see that the Tigers are on the same level they have been on for more than a decade. Another loss awaits at UNC this week. His pattern of coaching is beating up on cupcakes early in the year, and then going into conference play and he loses most of his remaining games. Go get an assistant coach from Kansas, a proven winning program. Hire him as your HC.

I was at Littlejohn today for the first half and watched Brownell on the sidelines.
He was very quiet and stood back until he pointed to where a player should move in the floor. Another coach behind him on the bench was more reserved but sometimes appeared to be instructing the players on strategy.
So from my viewpoint, Brownell coaches specific movements in the floor - technical … but didn’t appear to be instructing the team regarding strategy and team play. That is what is lacking from Brownell IMO … a sound strategy and the ability to change and communicate that strategy in the moment when game conditions warrant it.

I think it’s fine to want to see more success for our program, but these posts acting like he’s horrible or we are a bad team are ridiculous.
Some people need to get a grip. They clearly can’t be objective, they don’t understand our history, and they don’t seem to understand what top basketball programs are doing that we aren’t.

Please be specific on what the top notch programs are doing that we are not, besides having more talented confident players in clutch situations and a dynamic coach who seems to never miss a thing. Is it NIL, facilities? Pizza giveaways? What’s the difference? We can change everything but history, Awhat do we do differently?

Those other programs are recruit superior talent: The Kentuckys, the Arizonas, the Dukes, UNCs are simply getting better players. Clemson needs a guy who can recruit.

Looks like you have a LOW bar for success if you think repeated 18-13 seasons with NO NCAA Bid is successful in college basketball.

No, Clemson is not a bad team. It is a completely average team with a mediocre coach. And what top basketball programs do is not tolerate mediocrity, certainly not for 14 seasons. Top basketball program replace an average coach with a much better coach.

BB has the best job in America, hands down. The pay, job security and benefits, being able to operate in the shadow and branding of the West Zone, most probably doing what he loves and not even have to work a day in his life, all of it.

hoops at this point. Dabo's context was the historic success and championships he and the program have achieved and the method it took to accomplish that being disregarded by some when faced with adversity. CBB has accomplished nothing comparable for fans to appreciate.

of success in roundball, we shouldn't expect to be better in the present and FUTURE. To which I say, HARUMMPH! All the past excuses about facilities, etc are old news now. It is time for this basketball staff to advance the program. If this is indeed Brown-L's best team, and I do believe it is, then nothing short of the Elite 8 would be an advancement.
Now, do I think we get there? Of course not. Neither does JK, he is already priming us with the injury excuse ahead of time. If injuries are our downfall right now, then we should be playing even HARDER to get that double bye, and the blessed rest that would come with it. We shall see what we shall see, I guess.

No Judge
The real reason this post is blowing up now is because Brad lost to another bottom feeder ACC team.
Dude the fact you believe anything will change is beyond me. The amount of hope and optimism you put into Brad is sad to see. He’s a great person in my opinion though.
Despite any accomplishments Brad has had, he has also become the longest tenured coach at Clemson. I would expect him to have the most wins if he was coaching for many more years than Cliff Ellis and others.

My wife loves to say “when someone shows you who they are, believe them.” The question you posed boils down to whether you believe he has shown the fans who he is.

all accounts he is a pretty decent man. Trump and Biden are inept politicians, AND both are despicable hooman beans as well. It turns my stomach to think that, once again, as four years ago, this is the choice America is being given.
I ALMOST hope Trump wins, if for no other reason than it means he could never, ever, ever run for President again. Biden is so old, he will never run again no matter what, if he is even still alive four years from now, which is far from a given.
