I see just one former walk on, Dominique Thomas. I see just three Daniel high players; Venables, Lawson and Kelley, all recruited and offered out of high school. Just one former coaches son, Venables.
Can we at least do away with that narrative

injuries were huge. Zanders retires. Jones, Venables, Phillips, Mukuba and Greene all hurt at times, and missing games for most. The three freshmen were baptized under fire. In the long run they'll be better for it. We return our top 10 this year.

they were playing due to injuries to Jones and Greene, and Fred Davis being in Dabo's love shack. They were 3rd team. You're expecting juniors to hang around and be 3rd team, or people to transfer in to be backups?

Furthermore, F.Davis’ PT kept declining as our true FR DBs’ performance improved.
‘Losing’ Fred Davis was good for us with respect to roster numbers.

The big question is who are the 3 that will not be there? Daniel high school has been very good for us through the years and former Lions have helped us have many wins. Some people are just jealous their high school could never beat Daniel.
