together and make a standard easily replaceable battery pack. Like something that can be replaced quickly..like if they are dead at a fueling station.
They say they can't do it; I say that's BS. The batteries in that, the Tesla and the GMC/Hummer and long, flat rectangles. How much easier does it get?

They have battery swap stations where you can just pull up and someone will take out your old battery and put in new one so no waiting to charge at a station.

I remember in like 1985 when the Ford prez said they'd never be able to release a 4 cam,32 valve V8, and that it just didn't make sense to do so.
I guess it made sense about 3 years later year when Lexus put one in their LX400 and sold the chit out of it. That engine was used for about 23 years after that. It only took Ford about another 8 years to be able to do it in like 1993.
I guess when Ford introduces a quick change battery pack 5 years from now, it will be like science was reinvented.

https://www.lowtechmagazine.com/overview-of-early-electric-cars.htmlOverview of early electric cars (1895-1925) One hundred years ago electric cars were a common sight on city streets in Europe and the United States. Many of them had a range comparable to that of today's EV's. See also the overview of early electric trucks from the same catalog. Car models were indicated differently at the beginning of the twentieth century, mostly consisting of the brand name, a model number and the car body type. Most body...
