nightmare scenario?

Florida wins out,beating LSU in the SEC title game, avenging their only loss.
LSU beats Alabama in a close game then loses to Florida in a close game.
Alabama loses to LSU in a close game then wins out, dominating the rest of their schedule.
All three teams have one loss, would the committee dare put all three in the playoffs?

Nope. Because the circular argument the committee would have to twist itself into is such a reach, it would actually make it easier for them to say only the SEC champ should go and just send Florida. It really shows the whole reason for conference championship games.

Go to fivethirtyeight.com and look at the college football playoff predictions. This is the only place to go. These guys know what they are doing. Forget the scenarios and whatever ESPN says. If fivethirtyeight says we are in, then we are in.

I know ABC owns it. But I'm convinced that Paul Finebaum and company have nothing to do with 538. Their predictions are spot on. And they have Clemson number 1 for the playoffs. I'm pretty sure that isn't based off of what the talking heads at ESPN are telling them.
