Anybody else remember seeing this story several years ago? Check out his comments regarding getting to coach at Clemson. He’s definitely a great candidate.

Nick Eason played for one of the greatest organizations in professional sports. He won a Super Bowl ring and he played in two Super Bowls. He has even spent five seasons as a coach in the NFL.

That would be a big mistake IMO if Dabo don't reach out to him bc, we rally need a big name that can coach with all that has been lost on that side of the ball. Goodwin just isn't known well enough to get the big time recruits now, Nick Eason is a hire that Dabo needs to bring to Clemson in a right way!!!

Eason is under contract at Auburn through 2023

so not sure how that would work, what a possible buyout is. He's reportedly making 700K which is less than Bates, but would he want more to come here? Are we wanting to pay 700K + for just a position coach?

I'm pretty sure Dabo would speak with him. Just a good bit of red tape to navigate
