I really feel like he is going to sign with us. He is a very quite individual and after seeing what happened with RN and other recruits, he doesn't want all the drama and chaos brought about from media reporters and such so he stays calm and collective.

but when it comes to spending the next three/four years of his collegiate career, I highly doubt that'd factor into a decision. There are much bigger factors to consider than a drive, such as NCAA investigations, coaching stability, relation with position coaches, etc... These kinds of things may make or break his career as a fb player...literally the difference between millions of $$$. The drive, not so much. I understand he wants to stay close to home, but in the grand scheme of things and for all the reasons stated above, it's pretty close to splitting hairs at that point. Besides, he is, as of right now, still committed to Auburn.
All that said, if he was completely split 50/50 between Auburn and Clemson...I wouldn't hesitate to throw that out there lol.

I think that CARL LAWSON and family will make the best decision for their circumstance and I think that means that he attends the best University within 250 miles of their home and I believe that is
CLEMSON UNIVERSITY!!!!!!!!

Randy Garner is now a coach at Auburn and Lawson and his high school coach both dislike Garner. It will be interesting. I like the fact that he says he will sign at his home with his parents and not do the "hat" routine garbage. Class act and we like Class Acts at Clemson like Brian Dawkins! I think we get him to sign with Clemson!

RODNEY Garner is NOT disliked by Lawson or his high school coach! Where are you getting this information from?
Auburn did bring in the Rodney Garner to "coach" the defensive line, but lets call a spade a spade here for a minute, shall we? He was brought in because the SOB can recruit his nutz off. I said it once and I will say it again on here, if we have any admiration to obtain Lawson's services, we are going to have to pry him from Gardner's cold dead fingers. I personally feel he will stay with Auburn.
