Didnt realize Tigers 8 & 0 vs some good UL teams & my fun trip there.

Went up to the game 2017 (or was it 2018?) in Louisville by meeting up with Tiger Fans in Columbia and taking a great chartered bus there which was neat & relaxing.

After a splendid evening meal at our luxury downtown hotel, the next day we had time to tour (me the Louisville Slugger bat museum where I ordered two orange stained bats with a message inscribed for Son & myself..

And in early PM we toured the Kentucky Derby facilities to see some minor races and where I enjoyed: 1. Having an Old Fashion (well, two)..2. Getting to be feet from the winners circle..3. Meeting the Son of the great Tiger O-Lineman Jimmy Wells and as such the Nephew of the great Tiger RB Joel Wells.

Then the bus took us to the Cardinals Stadium where we were early enough for me to walk around the lower concourse of the entire U-shape and on the way back I’m bucking the crowds of Red & Black clad Cardinal fans..

And then before going up to our group’s upper section seats I spotted a stand that served up Bourbon/Whisky drinks in large cups thus I indulged again which was a no-no for me but the night was gonna be a barn-burner.

To make this short our Tigers took a close game and turned it into a sweet win.

Great trip back to Columbia but first the tour bus stopped in a small rural town at a designated stop at an old Inn for a home-cooked meal with breads & desserts..

before the long ride back to where I’d left my Chevy SSR convertible truck that had huge custom-made 2 foot diameter PAW logo magnets on the doors.

What a trip and one of the 8 & 0 wins over the Cards.
