So 2024 was the first year 6 QBs were selected in the first round of the NFL draft. How do you rate the draft picks? Who will have the best career?

Super excited to have Penix as the future of Falcons football. He gets to learn from Cousins a couple years before being thrown in the fire. I’d argue he has the best chance of success out of the lot. You never know tho. So many 6th round picks turned into hall of famers!

So it is McCarthy or Nix and I would have to lean toward Sean Payton and Bo Nix.

Coaching vs. Player Skill sets? Interesting take. Minnesota has top receivers and McCarthy is least proven passer. Nix will be interesting.

Maye is interesting. IMHO and per the stats, Sam Howell had a better college career at UNC. Love Penix ability to pass mid and long range. Williams and Daniels were drafted at top for a reason - Williams is going to a solid team. Daniels has no blocking in D.C.

Nix landed with the best coach and they drafted his college #1 wr. Nix will have a nice career.

Williams is doomed with eberflus.

Daniels is going to RG3 2.0 with Dan Quinn.

Maye and Mayo ....cmon

Penix might be good if Kirk will mentor him and they don't rush him out there while the Falcons are devoid of talent.

Mccarthy has the best situation but imo he is the least skilled. Winning is not an indicator of QB talent. Keller Moore, Tebow, etc prove this.

I have been a Patriots fan since I was a little boy...I am 60 so I have seen many more losing. By comparison the Tom Brady years were just a flash in the pan. I think the Patriots just drafted the next Daniel Jones.
