I've never seen such negativity in my life. No, our program isn't perfect. Yes, we have some problems. Yes, we have work to do, but there is a very bright future here in Clemson.
Think positive folks.

I don't see it as a question of negativity,but reality.
When have we been relevant in sports the last decade or so?
Sure we won a ACC Championship under Dabo,then got hammered in the Orange Bowl by
West Virgina.We have lost two straight games to FSU,the last one we just gave away,
and last years loss in The Valley was a total meltdown on national tv.
We have lost 5 straight to the coots,all by double digits if memory serves me.Sure
they are having a resurgence,but come on,I have even had coots tell me we should have won last years game.
Yes,we had two good wins against LSU in the Chic-Fil-A Bowl,thanks to a great throw,and catch from Tajh to Nuke,and we beat an Ohio St, team in last years Orange Bowl,but I even heard it from a couple of Buckeye fans that they really didn't want to be there.So be it.
Meanwhile the coots football team has actually ended the last two seasons ranked higher than us.
And what about basketball? Sure we had a winning season,but injuries,and depth to some degree contributed to keeping us from making the Big dance.Yes we got to the final of the Nit,a tournament no one really cares about except the coots who managed to win it.
Baseball?? When was the last time we saw Omaha? Meanwhile our instate rivals
were winning back to back CWS Titles,and playing in a third.
Sure ,our program isn't perfect,but is it too much to want a program that isn't being over shadowed
by it's instate rival.

My problem is we have NO OFFENSE - none. Deshaun apparently is the offense, and if he's not on the field, then we're SOL. I've never seen more ineptness from ANY college team - any of them. Can any of you? Every team should have the possibility of scoring a TD on offense, and we don't have that. It's bad when we're all just crossing our fingers - HOPING for a 3 and out - at least that won't lead to a pick 6. At this point in the season, I think our defense is tired and having to support the entire team is getting old.
I put a lot of the blame on Cole, but by this point, the blame has bled over to CM and DS (and I love both of them, and prior to this week, I've completely supported both). Surely they see his lack of skill, yet they keep putting him back out there, and then we get little sound bites where they proclaim "he has the tools to win" and "he's capable of competing at the next level". By now, I believe 90% of the other 84 guys on our squad could handle QB duties better than what we're seeing, but Dabo and Chad don't see that - they see a guy who is just on the cusp of NFL caliber... I just don't get it. I truly think Kelly Bryant, with no college experience, could come in and do better. So, there's the reason(s) for my negativity. Not only do we have a total inept guy under center, but we have a coaching staff absolutely unwilling (for whatever reason) to facilitate change. It's maddening to watch, to say the least.
