We are a much better team than what we have been seeing. The potential is through the roof. I don’t know what it’ll take to unlock it, but I’m hopeful it’ll happen.

But unfortunately, if they haven’t corrected some of the mistakes we keep repeating through 6 games I don’t see it getting corrected this season.
We are what we are right now. A very average football team.

Very,very true. The games aren’t played on paper BUT somebody has to take control of the team and see that every player does more than his share to get the win. The more the better. Clemson lacks this guy…. I think.

and then unlocked it to beat a top rated FSU, USuC, and Tennessee to end the year. That team looked dead in the water but they roared to a great finish. Same can happen here.

In the Wake game, he was using his big frame to shield others from the ball. We need to see more of that (and of course, less drops).
I don't think he's going to separate from good DBs often, but he could hone in that skill and build a bit of chemistry with Cade doing so.

Watch the plays he is in for and you’ll see why it isn’t many.
This isn’t personal but only what I observe from tape. He runs lazy routes and is a lazy / non existent blocker. Recipe for a spot on the bench.

Hate having to think about it, but Randall sure looks like the most likely player heading to the portal. Dabo keeps pumping sunshine that he’s going to wake up, but the body language on the field says he’s already checked out. Don’t know what is up, but it’s sad to see someone with so much potential play like they don’t want to be out there.

Definitely saw a 3rd down play where we needed a WR to get open, he jogged to center of field with the LBs, then turned and slowly ran to boundary, not watching what Cade was doing and with no urgency. I said then, "That is exactly why your playing time is decreased!".
Collins played with more spunk yesterday, they kept TB covered most the day, Briningstool had 2 drops, and overall as everyone saw, the offense just seemed uninspired a lot of the day.

It's becoming more and more apparent that Randall is not the same player or the player he was touted to be. The knee surgery in 2022 could be the reason. Maybe he just lost a step because of the knee injury or he is afraid to get hurt again. But he is not the answer. Another injured receiver that never panned out.
