...after a 35 year hiatus. He has done great things so far at Clemson in three seasons. Patience... We had some tough breaks in last year's Super Regional, otherwise he'd have taken us to the CWS in season 2. This time has some weaknesses on both sides of the ball, but the sky isn't falling...patience...

Monte is half the coach Bakich is … I will say Monte may have been a better recruiter up to this point if we are being honest … but coaching and getting the most out of his teams , not even close.

Monte was a borderline .500 coach at a school that NEVER goes .500 when he cycled through all the Jack players and started having to recruit his own guys. Bakich took all those Lee recruits and won an ACC title in year 1 lol. They’re not the same.

This team under Lee would have actually struck out more and maybe won 22 to 25 games. Atleast they beat up the Gamecocks and beat a Dawg team that sits at #1 in the RPI. There were some bright spots before it all went into the tank.

What blows my mind is the lack of knowledge of our opponents and the expectation that we are supposed to win every game. We came into this weekend with the same ACC record as Duke and the winner of the series would have to play well. To win any series, you have to play well because so many teams are at least equal in talent and you just simply cannot win without your A game.
