Hey, I know some of you are caulk masters.

So let's talk about your caulk.
I have an undermount sink mating to granite. On one or two places in particular, where my wife can't seem to resist spraying copious amounts of water, it appears they did a poor job applying sealer when they installed the sink, and some water makes it through the cracks and comes out underneath.
It would be an insane endeavor to drop the disposal, all plumbing, etc and the sink and to start over. I'm not looking to do that. What I'm looking to do is apply something like a clear silicone around the gap between the counter and the sink from the topside. Biggest question is I know there will be some moisture present, and it's likely my wife won't be able to avoid splashing the area before it's fully cures.
So is there a sealant that fits the bill and also is impervious to minor water contact while curing?

gender thing. My wife is convinced she's better at the dishes, but her loading technique (not to mention her hand-wash stacking skills) are bushleague.
I think this relates back to men in general being better at spatial awareness (while women are the masters as multitasking). We load cars better. We load dishwashers better. End of story.

reason I just took over all of the dish duties in the house. Terrible at loading a dishwasher, terrible at hand washing, and even the most remedial physics escape her, like putting something cup-shaped upside down in the dish drainer. She can't see that great without her glasses, which she doesn't have and can't find half the time, so anything that is hand washed without glasses will likely have to be redone by me anyway.
It's just easier if I do it, and after years of owning it, I think I've developed some Stockholm Syndrome over it, too--I get annoyed if I even hear her banging around in the kitchen because I know it's stuff I'm going to have to redo or rearrange.

I do my own laundry. In the decade we've been in this house, I don't think she's done 8 minutes of yardwork. It's like that hour or two a week during most of the year doesn't exist. But I still catch ALL the shit about not doing anything around the house.

13 gallon kitchen trashcan--better throw that milk carton and two Amazon boxes in there...TIME TO TAKE THE TRASH OUT, B! Same with anything in a bag in the fridge--whatever you do, don't remove the excess air from any bag, thus preserving the food from oxygen. No, blow it up like a balloon to ensure MAXIMUM space usage. Which is very slightly preferable to the kids who don't know how to seal bags at all.

Not shampoo bottles, or a box they cleaned out of the closet… I almost want to get a regular size trash can for the bathroom just so I don’t have to empty it so much.

She also puts knives in sharp side up. Then complains about accidentally cutting her fingers.

we have a whole silverware rack slot full of stabby, ###### knives that my wife has accumulated over the years. We have #### near a full set of what Quincy's used to call steak knives that I use primarily to cut cheese blocks because they are just sharp enough and straight enough but also paper thin and shallow. But everyone else in the house uses these crappy knives to cut stuff. My wife actually for years used effectively this to cut anything and everything.

You need to reseal the entire sink area once every 5-10 years. Some people don't until it is a big problem. There is also granite top crack repairs with light if a crack is your problem.
