My Tiger friends.....This scenario does NOT solve the

I have zero interest in the Big Ten. If a group of 7 go together and its basically a league within a league that would be ok. Of course I'm speaking of fan interest and not money. The Big Ten sucks with all their completely stupid white bread teams in distant cold lands.

I'd rather not jump conferences at all, but if its just us and FSU it better be the SEC.

Better yet. 9 ACC teams leave the league and keep the name. Effectively kicking out the schools who are riding our financial coattails. Keep the Name and keep the network. pay them some to go away. These teams are valuable enough to add to another league, so why not just make our own league?

Football round robin every year plus ND in the current deal because they are obviously not joining anything soon.

$$$$ issue; nor does staying put in the listless ACC b/c some don't have an interest in SEC or B1G or simply hate change. If you want CLEM to recruit for, and be competitive for CFPs and NCs in the future, change is NOT optional here--unless the ACC comes up with some plan that can overcome the annual $30-40M gap---which it won't. Let me repeat, recruiting WILL become harder and harder. The cost of staying another 13 years in this dead conference will be much more than $350M..... Dabo knows this. Neff knows this. The BOT knows this.

I get some don't like change and prefer the historical ties with the ACC. But this is akin to staying with an old girlfriend/wife who really was never that good of a fit for you, never truly loved you, never was that hot, always took you for granted, screwed you (not in a good way) when you needed them most and leaches off you knowing her prenup will save her when you finally have the courage to do what's best for you. You'd rather stay in the same ol' relationship because it is quasi-comfortable, yet never, ever satisfying, because you hate the idea of taking the risk of dating again to find someone new.

Let me pull the band aid off for some.....Clemson is NOT staying in the ACC for the next 13 years. Enjoy the ride. For the billionth time, Dabo has told y'all where this is headed (Two, and then possibly one). Clemson is in a great spot. Enjoy the ride.
