were never on the Big XII radar and Doabo's comments, as well as those from the Board, are a way to avoid embarrassment when FSU and ND are invited and we are not. We can now say that the reason we weren't invited was because they knew we wouldn't join. It's like a girl in high school announcing she won't go to the prom with the best looking guy in her class. When he doesn't invite her she can always claim that was because he knew she wouldn't have said yes.

OK I really don't have sources, except the voices in my head, but I think that still makes sense.

All this stuff about us going to Big 12, SEC or whatever fails to consider one fact. What if neither the SEC or the Big 12 want us? Maybe they don't see us as desireable as most on here do. And that is nothing to do with the Orange Bowl, if they don't consider that we increase their value, then what? We can't just call them up and say "hey we decided to give you a break and join your conference" we have to be asked. Just maybe that is what was behind Dabo's comments. And if they expand and we aren't asked, Tiger net will implode!
