my short list would include;
Don Brown (Defensive Coordinator at Michigan) - He has extensive ties to the Northeast and prior to spending the last four years at Michigan, Brown called the plays on defense at Boston College (2013-15), UConn (2011-12) and Maryland (2009-10). Brown went 27-20 as Northeastern’s head coach from 200-03 and 43-19 at UMass from 2004-08.
Lance Leipold (Head Coach at Buffalo) - Leipold has guided the Bulls to three consecutive non-losing records and is 17-9 over the last two years. Buffalo isn’t an easy job, so back-to-back bowl games and a division title in 2018 is a solid resume for Leipold. He arrived in Buffalo after going 109-6 with six Division III national titles at Wisconsin-Whitewater from 2007-14.
Al Washington (LB Coach at Ohio State) - Washington played at Boston College from 2002-05 and later coached in Chestnut Hill from 2012-16 as an assistant. Washington spent one year at Cincinnati (2017) before joining Michigan’s staff in 2018. He left Ann Arbor for Columbus prior last offseason and has been instrumental in the Buckeyes’ defensive improvement. His biggest drawback is that he does not have any experience as a head coach at the FBS level.

Don Brown could be an option. The UM fan base want him gone after Saturday’s game.
Urban has a lot of reasons why he won’t coach again, namely his wife, but also his kids and grandkids. However, if he decides he can’t live without coaching, it won’t be at a place like BC. I’d also bet it wouldn’t be at a place like USC or ND either.

Addazio can be thin-skinned and petty. Williams wasn't the only one who experienced this. Addazio had a feud with a reporter from BC's student newspaper who asked him a question at a post-game presser that he took exception to.
