Clemson should be 6th. Won’t happen but we should jump Bama, LSU, and Tenn. Both Bama and LSU lost to Tenn.
It would take two losses from USC, TCU, and Mich for us to get in, assuming we can win out

I don't think other polls will, but I think that the Committee will be forced to rethink LSU and Alabama. With Scar putting a beatdown on Tennessee and Arkansas putting a beatdown on Mississippi, I don't see how you keep from coming to the realization that outside of UGA the SEC just isn't that good this year.
How do you justify putting Tennessee behind LSU? How do you justify putting LSU in front of anybody with 1 loss? Alabama deserves to be ahead of both Tennessee and LSU. They lost to both teams in hostile venues on last second plays. The committee has a problem putting them ahead though because they could never defend a 2 loss team going to the playoff that didn't make it to their conference championship.
I think that the committee gives in this week to logic, and we jump LSU, Alabama, and Tennessee. My prediction is that you see us at 6 this week.

This is going to be the committee’s issue. You now have Tennessee that should stay ahead of LSU and Alabama with identical records and head to head wins. But with a Clemson strong win against South Carolina next week, that common opponent would put us ahead of all three.
Oh wait, we own the common opponent against LSU already against FSU, yet they are ahead of us with one extra loss? Don’t trust the committee to do anything but 1) not do anything too outrageous but while 2) making the most money for television. Which means letting new teams in while everyone has Clemson and Alabama fatigue.

It’s pretty simple 2 paths for us to get in. USC must lose another game and the favorites win out ( Oh St, Georgia, TCU) if they do and we win out we are in. The other path is TCU loses another game that leaves pac 10 champ USC and Ohio State, Georgia and us. If you are thinking Michigan then their one loss to OhSt and their week schedule keeps them out. Bad scenario if Michigan beats Oh st or Ga loses to LSU we want get in.

I think that we jump LSU this week, but I believe that you are right and they would jump us if they beat UGA. I think that the committee would tie themselves in knots trying to justify it, but they do that every week.

Isn’t UT their only ranked win now? And that is a bit tarnished. Heck UT may lose to Vandy this week. I think SEC only gets 1 just like 6 of the past 8 years. It takes a lot to happen for a conf to get 2 in. SEC has done twice and the ACC once. No one else has done it.

You may be correct.or Clemson might be below Bama. However, I think the correct one should be Clemson above lsu. Losses matter.

Imo, the POC will watch film and see that DJ appears to have become a more complete quarterback. This is a developmental process which the committee respect. They appreciate a team being better at the end of the season than during the beginning.
USCe's win over UT and the askwhuppin we will give them come Saturday will help Clemson greatly.
