"Conservatives really want ALL weapons legal. (admit it)
Their tactic is to stop background checks and keep assault rifles, but in the end to make sure every citizen can have a nuke of their own. Once that is done, they would find reason to go after the next category, maybe promoting biological weapons for everyone. This is conservative Strategy 101...

I say put up some evidence to support your claim, otherwise, you're not helping anything by spreading such an idea.
I'll put up a little evidence to the contrary....the was an Assault Weapons Ban from 1994 to 2004. The AWB was allowed to expire in 2004.
Democrats controlled both houses of Congress for the last 2 yrs of GW Bush's term and the first 2 yrs of Obama's term. Can you please point me to where they passed a reinstatement of the AWB law or any law that would have expanded gun control?
Frankly, their lack of action on the topic during Obama's first 2 yrs makes many of the ones making statements now quite hypocritical (Nancy Peloci comes to mind when I think of her recent statements on the matter of gun control).

They think they are making very isolated, specific demands. They don't realize each instance is simply the latest chapter in a long book that will end with a UK or Australia scenario. And it's all a distortion of reality brought on by political manipulation.
