dislike for all things related to the Gamecocks and that he is the only person in modern history to have suffered a serious injury that momentarily sidelined him from playing football yet ultimately healed sufficiently to sign an NFL contract?
Even if nobody else agrees --- if I declare that the moratorium is over in my household, does that make me a bad person?

He's a good guy and no longer a coot player.

Why dislike him? Obviously you are entitled to if you want, but I don't see the angle. He never disrespected Clemson. He just chose to go to an institution that we hate.
Plus he's a 49er now, so I like him.

"Does that make you a bad person??"

Absolutely not. And I cautioned people from rushing over to cootville to express condolences when Lattimore was injured. It was a bad deal, but I ask you, have you seen any chickens flooding Tnet with the same type compassion when a Clemson player has been injured??

Most Clemson people had strong feelings of respect

concern, compassion, support, etc. for ex Gamecock players (and their families) like Kenny McKinley, O.J. Murdock, Kenny Miles, and Landon Powell. It goes way beyond sports and school and other stuff trivial in comparison. It's about life, struggles, and fellow human beings.
I hope most Gamecock fans had similar feelings for some of our players and their families like Gaines Adams, Chester McGlockton, and Levon Kirkland (lost his wife to cancer last year).
