The 2014 football season was a good one – not great – for the Clemson football team and there were plenty of storylines to go around. The year itself started with Clemson’s thrilling win over Ohio St. in the Orange Bowl as Tiger fans said goodbye to Spencer Shuey, Tajh Boyd, Sammy Watkins and more and ended with the Tigers' dismantling of Oklahoma in the Russell Athletic Bowl. I want to follow up on point #8 in the article as I am unhappy with the paraphrasing of Coach Swinney's comments. He said and I quote "If they (the fans) Boo him (Cole Stoudt)they are not who I thought they were". I don't know about anyone else but I heard that comment on Roy Philpotts radio show and it cut me to the quick. Who are we to disparage a kid who is playing hurt and was so banged up that he took zero reps the week of the Ga Tech game (coach's comments were after that loss). We all need to be reminded of a few things everytime we have a meltdown:
1. There kids 18-23 yrs old they have a huge work load year round especially during the season
2. Cole always had talent but a nagging injury and a loss of confidence combined w/ no practice led to a very poor showing against Ga Tech.
3. all of our kids are held to a much higher standard than other schools they go to class and put in the hours of study to stay on graduation pace (No African - American Studies "no-show" Programs at CU)we all need to be more proud of the A.P.R. vs wins and losses if we are not what is the point?
4. Our kids do it the right way. No primadonna's or entitled babies here
5. I love winning, everyone does but our coaches and administrators refuse to compromise our schools integrity / reputation for short term gains.
I would like to thank Coach for reminding us all of these principals BEST is STANDARD.

After watching "we skrong" and crew walk off the field without meeting at midfield (classless Seminoles) after the beatdown they took from Oregon, I want to say Thank you Dabo and Go Tigers!

Is someone going to call me a coot now? Chad Kelly is a young, confident guy who expected to be the starter and got ticked off when he wasn't. Sounds like a passionate kid who let his emotions get in the way.
And the FFRF was just following up on a complaint they received. The questions were answered and they let it go. I have no problem with that.
