Heard the audio.
Dabo was defending more than just himself. He was defending his players, his coaches, his administration and his university.
Tyler came across as folks you see in chat rooms who are filled with "keyboard courage." As the local radio station guy here (Orlando, FL. Long time sports talk guys. Does play by play on UCF games.) said, "He probably hung up the phone and called his buddies and bragged on how he destroyed Dabo on the phone. He's a guy who claims he's a Clemson fan, but will get with his buddies this weekend hoping Clemson loses because he and his buddies enjoy their miserable lives and want to see others being miserable to. 'We stink. See, I was right'!"

With all respect, Dabo gave the reaction this Tyler guy wanted. We’re 4-4, looking like a pop warner team scrambling up and down the field, and Dabo has a melt down that’s just unnecessary, punching down to this “kid”, as he called him.
Fans are tired of his defensive, gas lighting responses to anything critical. Clemson has been losing to ranked Power 5 teams consistently for 2 seasons. This season is pretty much a wash, with the exception of hopefully beating SC. Hopefully, he rights this ship by making serious staff changes in the off season. That’s what it will take to quiet fans.
