Friend and I have been going out and back today on where DJ ranks not only under CS but overall last 30 years. It made me laugh remembering the games with ole woody dantzler at qb, charlie, ect.. ect.. Going down the rabbit hole remembering how we were in the early 90's, mid, late, into 2000's before tahj came along and this build started. My buddy said man I remember when hoping to beat FSU and play for the ACC was all we wanted/talked about.

That's when it just hit me like a ton of bricks.. Welcome to the mountain top of fandom. When two days after winning the ACC we are all mostly talking about missing the playoffs because of qb, or something else.

It makes sense though conference championships are diminishing anyway. It will only diminishing more when we go to a 12 team playoff. They don't even matter now. Georgia last year didn't need to beat Alabama to be in the playoffs. They didn't need to beat LSU this year and they were already in. Michigan would have been the same. TCU didn't even win their playoff game and are in. Ohio state watched like we did.

Crazy how far and what Clemson has become in the last 30 years, and I'm sure the next 30 will be even crazier.
