The Coots greatest moment...
Jul 7, 2013, 3:09 PM

They climbed the mountain and played Auburn for the SEC Championship.
They got hammered, bombed, embarrassed 56-17.
Why they even open their beaks and say anything, it's hard to believe.

The coots still give us hell about the West Va bowl game, but they conveniently forget this one just 1 year b4. They weren't even competitive in that game, at least we were until we started fumbling and screwing up.

Do the math...
Jul 7, 2013, 4:35 PM

As I have told many a stupid Coot before, do the math-
70-33 is 37.
56-17 is 39.
Hmmm, let's see, 39 is a larger number than 37.

Now there you go with that logic stuff again. Coots don't know any of that.

Of course we were playing the undefeated National Champion with the Heisman winning QB and were expected to lose big. Clemson was playing the 3-way tie Big East champ and were expected to win big.

At least Clemson was able to actually win a conference championship.
When is the last time your chickens did that?

I'm not saying ours was a shining moment, just that the coots got their ### kicked as bad or worse and they keep forgetting that.

USuC beat CLemson that year.
Clemson took Aub. to OT and was the closest to any one in beating them.
SO, no.. dont think a blow out was expected.

Week 3?
We lost by 8 in week 4... I dare say they were much better late in the season.

Why wasn't USC better in week 13 than in week 4? Was Auburn an anomaly that somehow figured out how to improve as the season progressed?
I don't really care for this topic nor the twisted logic.

39 point losses in conference championship games are not supposed to happen. The dirtpeckers were just flat beaten senseless. best moment in the game was the Scam bomb at the end of the first half right after UsuC had made it closer...you could just hear the chickenhead souls deflating..it was priceless.

There is no way to argue that from any rational standpoint. Rogers Heisman would be a distant second and I suppose the drubbing in Hotlanta would rank as third , even though the kind of misery they must have felt heading out of that stadium would likely overshadow any sense of accomplishment in getting to play in the $Ec CG.

Yes, Auburn was an anomaly. They improved at a disproportionate rate compared to their opponents.
While we did improve, we didn't improve at the rate Auburn did. Clemson on the other hand regressed as the season went on.
Your "logic" is quite confusing as you seem to be arguing that all teams should improve at an equal rate. That isn't a logical position to hold.
