move money from one bank to another bank using venmo? Both banks are linked to venmo, but I've never moved money between the two.

with most banks, you can link the accounts. You would have to enter the bank routing and account number and they will send a preliminary test deposit ( 2 deposits, less than $1), which you confirm when complete in a few days and then they are linked.

Added money to venmo account from bank1. Then can move money from venmo to bank2. Couldn't figure a way to move it straight from bank1 to bank2 so it is a 2 step process. Maybe a one step process exists but I couldn't find it.

Banks generally don't like (make it hard) to move money from one to another.

There are ways, but no way that's direct will be easy.
I had a HELOC with one bank, my accounts in another, and there was no way to set up a transfer to pay the HELOC from another bank. So I waited on monthly bills and sent a check.

I have accounts at three banks

no issues moving around those, except BOA wants to charge a fee for moving from, so I initiate the moves at the bank I am moving to and get no fees.

I don't have Venmo. I don't think Vemno is meant for bank to bank transfers?

1) log on to bank website 2) go to "Transfers" 3) Input account info for where money is coming/going 4) Hit "confirm."

The best way is to go to the website of the bank you want to move it to
1

and link from there. If you are moving to a bank, I have never been hit with a fee, if you go to the one you are moving from, they sometimes charger you.
I move from Discover to BOA and back all the time.

BOA doesn't like to take cash.

I had to give my mother some money last month and took $1000 into BOA and ended up having to write them a check. They wouldn't take the cash. They weren't real happy about taking the check, either.
PNC bank has a "convenience center" in town that doesn't deal in cash, or checks, or anything. I have no idea what they do, or how that can be "convenient". How can that place possibly pay for itself?
What kind of bank doesn't take cash?
