No. Unless Dabo wants to start a recovery program for failed HC's.
If one of the two goes, promote Streeter to co-OC (though the next recruiting coordinator would have big shoes to fill).
If both go, ....Streeter then, too.
I have no inside knowledge, but if anybody's earned it, it's Streeter.
Dabo seems to be the kind of guy who'd be constantly updating his contingency plans. He won't get caught off guard if something like this happens.

No, but thanks for all you have done for Clemson but we must move on to even greater heights. Good luck and step down a division as head coach and then work your way back up.

He is a great offensive mind, was instrumental in creating a brand and identity and instilled a toughness that was needed.
He won’t come back though. He will be a HC again.

Offense rarely lost us a game back then. We won in spite of poor defenses.

I understand your thought, but I do not know enough about it . He did a heck of a job getting Scott and Elliot ready for their job.
I remember Dabo being super supportive of Chad getting the job and getting closer to home.
If Dabo wanted him back , I would support it 100%.
Dabo has been an excellent selector of coaching talent that fits his system. Keep it going Dabo.

Dabo is a good coach and a good person. Supports his people in public eye but makes the hard decisions behind the scenes.
I don’t see him welcomed back as anything but an analyst

Morris was really cutting edge, bit it's like the run n shoot at this point

One of the things that made is offense work was bc it was unique and had a lot quirky stuff going on that confused other teams. Defenses have figured this out. We've since adopted many of the main principles but ditched the stuff that was became unnecessary and even counterproductive. Like all the pre snap motion and constantly running the slot around in the back field faking reverses. This causes player fatigue, QB confusion, and ultimately led to a lot of mistakes. Now we more or less line up and execute without the goofy fake reverse every other play.

I'd move Streeter to OC if both Scott and Elliott were to leave.
My first call to RB coach and possible recruiting coordinator would be to CJ Spiller.

really understand the animosity towards him, but we've evolved since he was here and no longer need all of the motion and tempo and gimmicks.

Luckily, we won't have to worry about that. The furthest I can see him falling is to an OC for a P5 school, but he'll likely get a G5 HC gig. Unless our entire offense jumps ship, we're not looking to hire an OC and he won't be taking a role as a position coach.

Dabo is a smart dude. Kyle Richardson former Head Coach at Northwestern made them an offensive juggernaut not just in SC; but the country. Produced Justin Worley who played QB for Tennessee and Mason Rudolph who played QB for Oklahoma State and now with the Pittsburgh Steelers!
I could have this wrong - but I was told he studied directly with Mike Leach as a GA at Texas Tech. He knows Lincoln Riley(heresay) but it makes sense since they were both there. Dabo has a plan sitting there learning how college DC's adjust and do things. The offense under him would be far more Air Raid than just RPO and inside runs. I would love to see him get a shot one day! I think we may be sitting on the next Lincoln Riley in fact!
