With FSU having a high ranking now, and the loss would be earlier in the season.. if the chips fell right it could happen. Very unlikely, but it could happen.
Say they lose to us in overtime, they fall in the rankings to 9th or 10th. If they win out and smash florida at the end of the year, enough teams could lose for them to make it up.
Remembers its not if you lose one but WHEN you lose one. Two equal teams have 1 loss each. The team that loses earlier in the season will be on top. It doesnt make sense but thats the system until next season.
