Aggressive and simple baseball knowledge are 2 different things. Poor base running and bad in game decisions define Montes tenure so far. And getting embarrassed in the regionals over and over. And wearing a coot baseball cap for many a years

Yes! He should have bunted those two runners over in the top of the inning. Eliminate the double play and have two runners in scoring position. basic baseball.

I do think we should’ve bunted in the last inning, but there are 3 obvious plays where our players just didn’t make the correct play. Two were in the outfield and one was offensive base running. The folks here just looking to argue will say that’s coaching too... or recruiting... or something else- but at a certain point- the players have to make plays and of this wasn’t a college team I’d call each one out by name.

Agree. They were out coached and out played. It happens. Inconsistent calls by umps didn’t help either. Let’s see how they come back and play today. Go Tigers!
