There are plenty of players that would have played from this year’s team on the “back in the day”teams, but we are missing a clutch player like Renfrow. He was the guy that stepped up when it had to happen. Auburn 2016, Syracuse 2018, Bama all 3, etc. There’s a reason he was 3rd and Renfrow. Go back to this game and Wesco making a simple catch on a third down extends a drive near midfield that tech ultimately got a td on the next series. That extra 2 minutes of clock alone makes the game an overtime game, much less we likely get points there and put it away. There are multiple examples of similar and the only guy I see seemingly close here is Adam Randall cuz that care seems to CARE.
