I got a feeling if and when we win this weekend that Mike Williams will come back! I saw him last Saturday with no neck brace at all!

Unfortunately, recovering from a broken neck is a little deeper than just not wearing a neck brace.

The ONLY thing we need to concern ourselves with is Mike Williams' long-term health. No way would I clear him to begin practicing football until he had passed every conceivable test to ensure he is 110%.

Our staff has their heads on STRAIGHT and will do what is best for him.

Mike Williams hasn't ran a route in 3 months. Why would you think he'd come back this late in the season? It's not a video game. Let's let him have the spring and summer to fully heal and go from there.

For the love of GOD and all that's holy.....Mike Williams is GONE this season and possibly forever. Even if he and the medical team would "magically" cleared him to play, he is so far out of game condition he would be able to contribute. He's had a broken neck, the same injury Seth Russell from Baylor has and he's is our for a minimum of 6 months. Let's concentrate on the great ones we still have.

Even if he doesn't get cleared, Dabo should list him as a starter in the depth chart come playoff time. That would strike fear in the opponents having to plan against him. Of course if he does get cleared he has been running for the last couple of weeks and will have 3 weeks before the first playoff game. That should be enough to get him back to almost full speed. I just hope that he comes back for his senior season because he hasn't had a chance to prove his worth to the NFL Scouts. Go Tigers.

You answered the question of him coming back next year yourself. He played one possession this year, he will certainly be back next year and with DW and Cain on the other side of the field, defenses are going to pull their hair out trying to cover the middle with one guy!
