Pure Talent-Wise, Mike Bellamy

honestly could have broken all of CJs records. Kid was electric. Speed kills and he had it in spades. And not only pure speed, but the quickness and the vision as well. That cut at VT last year, where he clowns their all american was too easy.
Anyone who says we wouldnt take him back in a heartbeat after a year at Juco needs their head examnined. Or at least go back and watch the first few games from last year. Players like that dont come around very often.
Get your #### together and COME HOME MIKE.

He's going to have a lot of catching up to do if he comes back. He stated that he would break Spiller's records. He's getting a little behind doing that.
But yeh - I wish he'd come back - if he matures a LOT!!

I agree, talent-wise it's a no-brainer, I'd love to have him

back and I'm pretty sure we'd take him back based on that alone. As far as academics and attitude, I don't have much of a clue, and I trust Dabo and our coaches on that. If they feel at some point that he's ready and able, I'd be thrilled. If not, then so be it.

It's sad but He will never play at Clemson again.

he managed to screw up two chances to play for Clemson. Then he proceeded to immediately get kicked out of his first JUCO. NO there is a pattern. I have no interest in seeing him back at Clemson. I just feel like the pattern is pretty well established and we have enough options we dont need his antics. Talent is wonderful but team chemistry also matters

I liked him and would like him again, but he is no CJ.

Playing at an AZ JC, it wouldn't surprise me if he winds up with Rich Rod.

Yep. He had 57 carries and fumbled 4 of them (they were all recovered by the opponent). He also fumbled the opening kickoff of the Wofford game, but grabbed it himself. Here are his fumbles:
1st and 10 at AUB 27, fumble, recovered by AUB at AUB 18 (led to field goal) 3rd and 1 at CLEM 12, fumble, recovered by UNC at CLEM 10 (led to TD) 3rd and 1 at CLEM 49, fumble, recovered by GT at GT 39 (led to TD) 1st and 20 at CLEM 19, fumble, recovered by NCSt at CLEM 18 (led to field goal)
Two of those were recovered in a horrible position, one in a pretty bad one. All led to points, 20 in total.

He had talent but baggage out the waazoo. Fumbled way to much and was undersized. He was electric but no CJ. Mighta, coulda, woulda....who knows and it really don't matter at this point. I wish him and his rap sheet the best.

He's done fogged up those brain cells to the point he was seeing 3 or 4 footballs and couldn't figure out which one to hang onto.

this guy was the biggest #### wearing orange I'd ever met. If that hasn't changed, I don't want him donning my team's colors.

If He Has Grown Up, Why not?

I thought the term was once a Tiger, Always a Tiger?...
It is not like he ever got caught with weed. He is a kid that probably has been given everything he has wanted in high school and stroked by a lot of people and he bought into the hype and his world caved in on him...
A year in exile may be just the medicine Bellamy needs to get his head screwed on right.
Based on our recruiting and if we don't have a home run hitter like Bellamy we would be crazy to not given him a chance if he has his life sorted out........We did recruit him!
Problem is a lot of schools will come calling on him and he may very well end up at some other big program.
