We scored 2 points between the 13:41 mark and the 8:51 mark. During this time ND only scored 4 points. Seemed like the score was 44-43 forever. Had we gotten just a few more points during that time we could have built a lead. But we had a couple of turnovers and several missed shots, mostly 3 pointers. That part of the game was very ugly and IMO where we lost it.

I agree with you. Scoring droughts are killers. BB needs to shoot better!

Exactly right. Pretty certain Burton was out of the game during some of that time. The announcers made a comment about ND being unable to score as well with him out and we did not take advantage of that and went into our funk.

Stretch unfolded. It seemed like a lack of patience; instead of working the ball around the perimeter until we found a good post entry pass, we kept pulling a quick trigger on long jumpers

Had we taken better shots, gone inside more, and been patient, we would have made 40% of those missed 3’s.

The dunk and 4 free throws opened the 6-point gap and we never recovered.
