Georgia is not a conference champion but Bama is plus beat Georgia. Therefore Alabama is in front of Georgia. Texas is a conference champion and beat Alabama. Therefore Texas is in front of Georgia and Alabama.

FSU is a power 5 conference champion and undefeated. There is no valid reason to demote FSU below #4. If the committee didn't want FSU to end up at least at #4 after the ACCCG then they screwed up and painted themselves in a corner they cannot possibly get out of.

End of story.

I disagree. What I find fascinating is how many people on here are absolutely sure of this (no SEC Team). I think it is very uncertain at this point.

FSU is a cripple. They looked so bad out there tonight that no sane person thinks they’re a top 4 team. Clemson would beat their eye teeth out if they played again next week and we ain’t that good. It’s Michigan, Washington, Texas and Bama. Bama beats Michigan, Texas beats Washington and I foresee a replay of earlier this year but Bama coming out on top this time to win it all.
