I think the most likely is men's soccer...

It will be interesting to see if Clemson softball can sustain the level of success that it has achieved thus far after Cagle graduates in another year. Even with Cagle, I think they are still a few pieces away from being a legitimate national championship contender.

For the "next" championship not sure we can count on the guys. Softball is a top-10 program. Lacrosse is in the top-20. The Women's golf team just won the ACC.

I was thinking "next". The NCAA womens golf tournament is week after next and they could conceivably win it. As was said in other posts, men's soccer has the potential. Football is in a "we'll see" mode for me. Baseball has been rebuilding since Leggett. Basketball? well.... you know.

League Championship, or Natty?
2

League - softball, men's and/or women's soccer, football
Natty - men's soccer
The bar is set REALLY high for softball, with Oklahoma, UCLA, Florida State and Alabama ahead of us. We have Valerie Cagle, but there's a pretty big gap between her and the rest, even though the rest are still REALLY good, but not the same level as her. The other schools have that level of talent across multiple players - the only difference is that Val does it all - pitching, hitting, fielding and base running. Millie shows a lot of potential but needs some more consistency. Brooke McCubbin has looked good, but not gotten a lot of pitches in. Hitting has been way too inconsistent. We are definitely positioned to win the ACC - if we can get past FSU. But the rest of the national field - pretty tough, and very deep.
Football? We'll see how this year goes with Klubnik and the new OC. That will tell the tale.

Even established long time elite programs like Alabama and FSU have only been able to squeeze out 1 natty.
Consistently great programs such as Oregon, Washington, OK State, Tennessee, Texas etc have yet to win one.
As weird as it sounds, it may actually be more likely in baseball just because of the more random nature of the baseball tournament where you see surprise teams make deep runs all the time

Realistically...

Our best chances right now are... Men's Soccer - Currently Elite and capable of winning every year Football - Currently Near-Elite, but just barely removed from Elite group Womens Golf - Entering Near-Elite territory and could easily have a great tourney and win Softball - Near-Elite and probably better than Womens Golf overall, but much harder to win Championship when Oklahoma is so dominant here
After that the ones that have an outside shot are: Womens Lacrosse - Quite a bit from the top, but about where Softball was its first season Womens Soccer - Not Elite and Not Near-Elite, but just outside the Near-Elite group. Men's Golf - not really close at the moment, but could turn it around quickly
After that nobody is really close. Baseball and Womens Tennis are probably the next two that could get there, but they are not close right now and would take longer to turn around than Men's Golf.

OU is a softball machine, and I'm not betting on anyone winning 2 of 3 against them anytime soon.
Men's soccer would be my next guess, but there are so many teams each year who are capable of making a run. The team needed two wins that came down to penalty kicks to make the final in 2021. Those type of games really are coin flips.
Football only has a handful of championship contenders, and we're always in the mix based on dominating the ACC.

Football most likely. followed by baseball and softball, then mens soccer I guess. I don't follow soccer much so I can't really speak on it. I just know we are pretty good.
