Also, terracing the hill?
I think there is a reckoning with this type of spending.
There is only so much money Clemson nation can give to football. Spend it wisely!
I feel like the university and iptay are being big old bureaucracies - spending money on crap to fill their budgets and justify their existence. Those are dollars that donors could give to NIL collectives where the battle is being waged.
Instead we are building tunnels and terraces - I’ll bet that is winning all types of recruiting battles. Look at our terraces!!!

Well we cannot take the team to the strip clubs like UGAY. So we fill our terraces with beautiful Clemson women!!! The best in the world.

And you can bet your sweet bippy that they will come back with increased IPTAY fees, less parking for football, higher ticket prices, etc., etc. because they are out of money again. You are so correct about the Athletic Departments and associations at Clemson are becoming more and more like Liberal-run government bureaucracies every year. The bigger they get, the more out of touch with reality they become and their donor becomes more and more irrelevant to their insatiable spending of money they did not earn.

The Hill obviously hasn't worked for 80 years or so. Just think of the global warming we have caused driving the buses from the locker room to The Hill. And don't even get me started on the balloons... A tunnel with smoke coming out and rock n roll blaring is a much better and novel idea. What have we been thinking for all these decades. I'll bet with a tunnel we can have one of the best entrances in sports. Go Tigers!!!

Do you realize how much schools like Alabama, Texas, Ohio St, UGA, spend on their football facilities and stadium renovations?? If Clemson wants to remain relevant in college football, they have to keep up. Recruits and players compare and love all the extras. Neff understands this and so does Dabo.
Some of y’all would’ve been happy leaving the old scoreboard up there from 1970-something. And yell about how the new scoreboard is too big and too loud, and the Reeves Center cost too much, and the slide was stupid, blah, blah, blah.

I love the extras as much as anyone else.
But, like others, I can't understand why The Hill needs to be fixed.
The Hill is one of those things that makes Clemson unique.
Now we can be just like everyone else.
Yay.

What does the hill or tunnel have to do with recruiting?
Those projects are losers
And they are winning recruits with NIL deals. Facilities are yesterday’s bait

My guess is there's also a secret underground tunnel being dug as we speak that will go from the locker room, underneath Frank Howard Field, to a spiral staircase that will take the team to an entrance beneath the jumbotron at the top of The Hill. No more bus trips will be needed around the stadium.

That tunnel could be connected to the existing caverns underneath the tin cans.

with the players directly onto the field instead of running down the hill. I do not think any other team in the country does this.

Clemson is a state school. It is one huge bureaucracy when it comes to any spending.
