Meeting basketball players...

I'm taking my daughter down this weekend for the game and she's dying to meet rod hall. He's been her favorite player for his whole career. If you get in littlejohn early enough is there any opportunity to talk to the players?

I would say that your best shot is after the game. Before the game, the players are only out on the court to warm up, stretch, shoot, etc there is no interaction with the fans. But after the game, the players go back to the locker room for about 20-30 mins to shower/change and many of them come back out to the court to see family/friends.

I don't personally know any of the players but know some folks close to them and I know Rod is extremely quiet and private. That doesn't mean he won't greet you but just giving you some perspective.

Typically Rod does not come back out to the court after the game.....Rarely do any of them come out.

Sometimes if a player is brought back out for a TV interview you might be able to catch him as he leaves the court on his way back thru the tunnel...but you better act quickly as they don't hang out. Security will not let you onto the court.

They don't hang out in the tunnel either, and there is security and staff stationed at every door in the tunnel...Donor room, press room etc.
