Clemson needs to take care of business.
Win the ACC championship.
One game at a time.

You are quicker than I. I was thinking the same thing. Win our game, decisively! That is our ticket punching formula to the final 4, as it should be. We take care of business, and we are in. I think we will, and I think we deserve it. Also, we are peaking at the right time. I believe in this team, and I believe that we will win!

article was too long, started skimming. But good God does it sound like they want a reason for the Buckeyes and WOlverines to make the playoffs...

That can beat Alabama. We will destroy Oh St, Mich, PSU,Washington, Wisconsin or OU. Neither Michigan nor OS would score more than 14 points on our D. Michigan and Wash might not score any. I just wish we could get to #1 or #4 so we could play in Atlanta. I really don't want to have to make the trip across the country again....but I will.

I don't know how I feel about this interview. Head to head only matters in a tie breaker if the teams have a razor thin margin? I get that Pitt shouldn't be ahead of us, but this Ohio State Penn State deal is getting silly. I know they will protect OSU at all costs, but I feel like if the two teams were in the opposite situation, the "Conference Championship has to mean something" narrative would be played. Given this precedence, we should have lost to Louisville this year instead of trying to going undefeated. That way we don't play in the championship game and only need 11 wins for the playoffs instead of 13. The way this guy is answering questions, the only way to feel comfortable is to win them all. I don't know if I will be all that confident even if we blow out VT. Then again, margin of victory "doesn't matter." I wonder if margin of defeat does???

If Clemson wins they're in period

i'm not worried about Clemson at all. If Clemson and Wash win, then this is clear who will be top 4. 1 Bama, 2 Clemson, 3 Ohio st and 4 Wash. Clemson will jump Ohio st based on 4 top 25 wins and a CONFERENCE title. But 2 and 3 really don't matter the order. If Wash loses, then it will be fun to see who gets in between Penn st/Wisc winner and Mich. Sounds like they really want mich in the top 4

I think a 12-1 Clemson (and Washington) will be ranked ahead of a 11-1 Ohio State.
Also, don't completely write Clemson off if they lose. A 11-2 Clemson (with three top 25 wins) may be higher ranked than a 10-2 Michigan (with 3-4, higher ranked top 25 wins). Still better if we win.

A Clemson win (even a close game) and the Tigers are in. A loss and they are out. Simple.
