Don't put too much stock in that Boston College game. They were looking ahead. It happens. Like in 2011 we struggled again lowly Wofford and had to hang on to beat them...then next week 17-0 Auburn comes to town and we kicked their teeth in 38-24. We looked ahead.
My point is ...we will get FSUs beat tomorrow. We better play our best to beat them. I think we can but we have to clean up a lot of stuff.

It was definitely a trap game for them. I wouldn't hang your hat on it being a sign of them not being very good.

2011 we were also breaking in a new starting QB, new OC, and new offensive system, similar to this year. We trailed Troy at the half the week before and it wasn't us looking ahead to the Terriers I don't think. Just took a little time to gel.
That said, FSU managed to pull out a victory when they didn't have their best product to offer, unlike our Game 1 this year. Agree that there's little to gain from the BC game in terms of abilities outside of additional tape and tendencies to draw from.

I think they get the Al Golden treatment tomorrow. Dabo finally exacts appropriate revenge for 2020. Kicking them while they were down wouldn't have sufficed. Time to put a dagger in any thoughts that they've turned some corner.
