Watching the game again, and I have to say that Clemson played great. They had that one costly turn over and that one missed field goal that ultimately cost them the game today. The Offense is moving the ball well, and the Defense held Florida State to 22 yards on the ground all game. That has to count for something. Aside from 7 or 8 starters, most of the players on this team who are taking reps in the game are either Sophomores, Redshirt Freshmen, or Redshirt Juniors. This team is in rebuild mode for the first time in more than 8 years. Clemson's Glory days are far from over and there will be another championship in the very near future. The future is still bright, and before anyone else whines about the transfer portal, I don't believe anyone currently in the portal would be better than who we currently have. We didn't have but 3 or 4 dropped passes the entire game. Many passes were athletic passes in coverage. Our Wide outs are doing great, and our offensive line had multiple pancake blocks today. Cade is playing with poise and a high accuracy rate. Has a much better release than DJ or KB. This team is young and some of the players are showing great promise for the next two to three years.

Problem is other teams will keep reloading annually while we follow the evs and flos of the recruiting classes. Thus, we get passed annually by someone. Let’s see who FSU and Miami land and pay this year.
We knew it was coming I guess. We will see how many of us are watching in 5 years.

How did that NIL and Transfer Portal work out for Colorado today? 42-6 I believe was the score. I believe a Clemson team that actually dedicates themselves to the players that they have on their current roster was in a battle with the #3 Team in the nation and barely lost in overtime. Another team that exploited a bunch of 4* and 5* studs. Texas A&M holds the record for the highest NIL payments made to date and they're not in the running for a national championship anytime soon. I'd say they're leagues beneath Clemson. I believe that Dabo has vision. I can remember whenever he was the head coach talking about winning championships in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 whenever we were losing to the Coots every year, losing to FSU every year, and losing to NCST every other year. Heck, we even lost a few times to GT. It's not being a pumper or an unreasonable fan to have this vision with a coach that has proven himself against the odds numerous occasions. It's not grandiose to believe that we can compete against the transfer portal and NIL with what we have already.

Duke game was lost because of turnovers. Played well against Tennessee but couldn't convert in the red zone. Made crucial turnovers against South Carolina. Eventually, you just have to get it done and quit pointing to a handful of plays.

Agreed. Team played very well. They were let down by amateurish coaching mistakes and judgement errors

Another excellent pumper post. Reminds me of Kevin Bacon at the end of Animal House. Wake up. We are 3-4 in our last 7 games. This is an experienced team and the fastest team under Dabo (his words, not mine). They sure don’t look like it. The wait til next year nonsense won’t cut it.

No it’s not but this team is headed for a losing record if they can’t figure out these turnover gifts. We gave that team 10 points. Too much talent to suck this bad. Haven’t beaten a division 1 team in going on a year by the way.

I'd say that we keep the recruits that we have. There's no rumors of anyone decommitting. Decootments happen for the same reason commitment happens for Clemson... CULTURE.
