And talk Mike and Artavis into staying for their last year as well.
I hate to say it, but I agree with Kiper that DW4 is not quite ready for the NFL, given he spent so much time out in his freshman year. If he could play behind New England's offensive line, then yes, he could do it. But he will be drafted by a team that won't have an OL to protect him... he would be lucky to make it in the NFL for 3 years before a career ending injury. I think he would go in the 2nd round this year, but with another year of maturity, he's a top 5 pick.
That said, I would have a hard time advising him to come back to Clemson for his last year of eligibility... one cheap shot and all his dreams fly away.
I'm just looking forward to the privilege of watching him in his final two college games... he's already the best I've EVER seen... better than Unitas, Namath, YA, Peyton, Montana, Bradshaw... he's a phenom!
Go, Tigers!

Mel's a hack. He's selling copy, not accuracy. If being right was part of his job description, he would have been unemployed for the last 20 years. He'll say whatever, there are no consequences for what he says.....hack.

Ask Auburn if DW4 and MW7 didn't blow the top off the offense right out the gate. And MW7 dropped two easy touchdown catches in that game. Well easy for him, and those turned into one field goal and a missed field goal. Those two torched Auburn. I would love to see DW4 come back but he should go pro. Whoever drafts him will not regret it. He will represent theat organization with class and out work and study harder than any one on the roster. Clemson was lucky to have him.

I love how Kiper states that Watson isn't playing as well with the more interceptions, etc. Look at Mr. Winston's stats after his Freshman year compared to his Sophomore year. He redshirted his first year so essentially you could state his first year should be compared to Deshaun's Sophomore year and Winston's Sophomore to Deshaun this year.

Wow. What a terrible assessment. I guarantee you he doesn't get past Buffalo in the 1st round.
If anyone gets DW4 outside of the top 5 they just won the franchise lottery.
How defeated would all ACC teams feel if he shocked everyone and came back for 2017? Haha.

Kiper is the groundhog. Way too much credit for usually being wrong. I predict good NFL careers for Boulware and Watson. If anyone should think hard about returning it's Gallman. Tons of RBs coming out this year, and he could be the focus of our offense in '17.

Deshaun Watson will enter the 2017 draft and if he has any doubts, Dabo needs to sit him down and try to convince him to leave. But I don't believer it will come to that. You are talking about a star dual threat quarterback (who can definitely throw darts from the pocket) who has had back to back injuries below his waste. This guy is a competitor. A monster. He's the real deal. So another college season could very well end his career or at least derail it due to injury. He might get chosen in the first round but no way he makes it past the second round. He can get his money and help out his family. With the right organization he can be groomed to take the reigns and become a franchise player. All the tools are there including the most important, IQ. Take the money and play backup for two years and perfect timing routes, under center play action, and develop an understanding of professional defensive strategies. After that, this dude is going to light up the league like a Christmas tree. I haven't seen someone so calm under astonishing quantities of pressure as this young man. Some guys fold when you apply pressure, others focus. He's the latter and then some. Amazing time to be a Tiger!

While some of the 15 interceptions are not on him he is ultimately responsible for them. The fact that he could be baited into throwing them suggests there is still much to learn. Frankly, I am not sold on Streeter. Has DW gotten better since Streeter arrived? Nope.
Call me selfish but I do think another year would help Watson and Scott. It won't happen but I think it would help.

I've been saying this for two years, yes he is a great asset to Clemson . That is not the reason, ( another year Watson@Clemson ) if Watson made the decision himself, not listening to so called analysts, BUT A FUNDAMENTAL DECESION WHICH HE ARRIVED TO TO THAT CONCLUSION. Would Watson be a more confident, mature and prepared quarterback? I can't know the future although critical thinking for me would give rise towards that dynamic. I do not know this Kilper guy, frankly I don't care . This is a valid question for me.

Leggett, He is a player which can fill several positions 2nd or 3rd round, great presence of field of play. Gets to places on field seemingly unnoticed and when he gets the ball, instinctively knows where and how to get there. Amazing vision of field.
