Hiring Mack Brown at UGA would be a terrible hire. Brown has always been a good recruiter, and an average coach. The year Texas won the NC, he had so much talent that even poor coaching couldn't screw things up.

can no longer relate to the players like younger coaches. You could see the talent drain at schools like FSU under Bowden, VT under Beamer, Texas the last few years under Brown, Penn St for long stretches at the end under Paterno, etc.
Hiring Brown at this point would be awful.

At Texas his last few years. Basically he would get these 5 star guys to come in and not coach them up. His coaching would consist of yelling at them at practice "cmon you're blue chippers!"

Mack Brown needs to coach at USUC. Perfect fit for a 3-9 type of team.
