Marion Hobby / What we know

I know the news that Hobby might be going to Jacksonville added a little excitement to the day, so let me catch you up on what we are hearing.
I've texted some of the players he is recruiting, and they don't think he is leaving. I know they have been in contact with him, so that tells me a lot.
Also, nobody in the Clemson program seemed to have any idea this was happening or about to happen and I've been told by several people they would be surprised if he left a job making $500K and went to the NFL. His daughter is in school at Daniel, and I know he has said he wanted her to graduate before he made any decisions.
I am going to keep calling and texting and when I know, you will know.

Bruce Feldman is reporting that he is seriously considering a move to the Jaguars. Losing a DE and DT coach in the same offseason could be killer. Not to mention how much it would hurt our chances with XT...

I don't give a rat's #### who leaves as long as it isn't Dabo. He built this ship and as long as he's the captain it will stay afloat, at top speed and on course.
Saying that, I'll say that I appreciate all the wonderful cooperation and help he's gotten from this, the finest group of coaches in the world.

I live in jacksonville, there is nothing on the radio or news saying anything about Coach Hobby coming to the Jaguars. I listen to 1010 Exel down here which is the flagship station for the Jags and have heard not a peep about it.
Keep up the great work Mr. Hood and if I hear anything different I will post.
