As far as I know, neither VT nor NC State's fanbase has ever expressed a burning desire to be in the SEC like we have. So, yes, it would be a kick in the gut for them to get in. It's just their dumb luck that there's no SEC team in their states.

South Carolina doesn't want us to be in it. They'll do whatever it takes to vote us out....No way will we make the SEC.

I would think that UNC would be much more attactive

than NCST. UNC has national support in basketball and is better than NCST in basketball and baseball and about the same in football (with possibly more potential).

UNC also generates much more income.
