reality is that he is usually on the money. That said he does miss one or two a year, but things usually play themselves out by Sunday afternoon.

It truly is.
I thought net rating was super important. If the ratings I am looking at are updated, state's net rating is 45. Ours is 51.
With a net rating that close, you have to look at head to head. We beat them 3 times by an average of 22 ppg.

We beat penn state head to head
Miss State 1 good win is over 11 TCU
rutgers is 3-6 in their last 9 games with only 1 loss to a top 25 team
But we do have some baaaad losses
20 to unc
18 to loyola chicago
10 to Louisville
8 to Boston College
Even with that at 23-9 and being 3rd in the ACC and still playing in the tourney semis if we were named unc or duke with 3 wins over nc state we would be safely in

I will say this. All those bad losses were away from Littlejohn. Plus the Tigers have three Q1 wins away from Littlejohn. Before this NET mess the committee would consider that highly. Not sure they do anything these days other than let a computer decide and common sense be ignored.

8 other ACC teams won at LSV. All the visitors except Ga Tech and Clemson managed it. Even Bellermine, Wright State, App State, and Lipscome all managed to win at LSV.
If we had not been outcoached and outplayed by LSV, Clemson would have tied for ACC regular season championship, and been solidly in the NCAAT.
LSV is at NET #316!

losses that Clemson has, deserves an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament. Period, end of story!
They only way Clemson gets in is by winning their next two games. Also, let's not forget teams will slide further down this scale, as I'm sure there will be a bid thief or two who win their conference tournament. FAU is a prime example here, if they don't win the CUSA Tournament, they are still getting an at large bid and taking one away from the bubble teams.

Do you feel that NCST deserves to be in the tourney ahead of Clemson? If so, please explain your logic as Clemson completely destroyed NCST in all THREE meetings.
