being fired is a done deal. That's kinda of hard to believe. If I was SC I'd be going after him with both barrels. Who are they going to get that's any better?

LA, and Miles has consistently had the most talented or 2nd-most talented team in the SEC during his tenure. He did win a title, but that team also lost 2 games and that was Saban's 1st season when Bama still wasn't any good.
I'm not saying he's a bad coach by any means, but he's never going to have the kind of talent at SC that he's had at LSU, not even close. He also runs an outdated offense that's pretty ineffective these days, and he's never developed 1 decent QB during his entire tenure (outside of Mettenberger who transferred in).
I wouldn't be afraid of him, that's for certain.

It's not if but when with Miles. All indications are that they're going after Jimbo hard, he was the OC at LSU under Saban. It'll be interesting to see the chain of coaching changes this sets off.
