LSU may in fact beat Georgia. I don’t think they will slaughter the dawgs. Their defense is to good.

That’s fair. A lot of their strength is in their run D. Their pass D gives up around 200 yards a game, so better than average but not much. LSU might just torch them in the air. But the run D for Jawja is legit.

Dawgs have good run defense. Look at their track record under Kirby with high powered passing teams. They give up a lot of points.

Joe is much more prolific passer (more points) while Ga's stout D won't hold Joe off from the end zone.

As bad as coots are, ugay is, at the very least, that bad, and probably even worse. We just stomped the team, in their home stadium, that stomped ugay in their home stadium. Let that sink in, and tell me why they are crowing. Hopefully LSU will whip their arses this weekend, and they can crawl back under their rock for another year.

Georgia is a fraud. LSU is going to pull away in the second half and that will put the UGA offense on Fromm to try to keep up and it’s just not happening. LSU will pass their way to a 20+ point win.

Don't Think So.

Anything can happen. And, I think Georgia is about on par with Sack-relina, but I still haven't seen Joe do it against a defense like Georgia's. Don't try and tell me Alabama after a struggling Auburn team put up 30 some odd points on that defense. Heck, Vanderbilt scored 38 against LSU. I seem to recall everyone saying the same thing last year about the Alabama team that steamrolled the SEC by 29.1 ppg. But, Georgia had a great chance to win that championship game but for some "ill-advised" plays!

You might be fight. LSU may not be all that good either. Maybe neither belongs in the playoff games. That sounds great to me.

If D'Andre Swift isn't 100% healthy, it will indeed be a slaughter.
If he plays, maybe UGA can keep it within 3 touchdowns.

The Dawgs defense is for real and Fromm can kill you with play action, I would actually rather face LSU or Ohio State in the playoffs than the puppies. Don't be surprised if they take it to LSU.

Everybody is "jacked up on offense"

Everybody is so jacked up on how good the LSU offense is. But, overlooking their defense! I didn't watch a second of their game versus A&M but I suspect A&M with their inability to "run the football" played effectively into LSU's hands.
Georgia can do 1 thing if they can't do anything else - they can run it. Me and you might be the only one's on here not surprised to see them win or "not get slaughtered"!
Georgia's defense is comparable to Auburn's that held LSU to 23.

Georgia is built like the dominant Alabama teams during the Julio Jones era, great defense, run the ball control the clock then go over the top deep with play action. LSU cant stop no team with an offensive pulse.

Didn't we see this last season when The Tua lead Alabama? They smacked everybody around like step children. "Until the SECCG"!
LSU might beat them like they beat everybody else - but I see Georgia as having a legit old school(what they use to call SEC type) defense. Georgia's defense can be pierced and the Dawgs can sometimes get in their own way. So, LSU could Smack the Dawgs. But, if they play to their potential, I can see them giving LSU fits and controlling the clock on them. Making it so the passing game can't be off a bit.
(((Football Heads)))) Tell them - it's different when a team is passing on you and getting yards. Compared to when a team is just manhandling you and enforcing their will and running on you. It's a different kind of domination in that you feel you can make some formation adjustments or mix your coverages, etc. IN short, you have options of things you can try. When a team is just beating you physically - "there is little to no formation change you can go to that will change that"!
We'll see.

I agree, and the few games I watched of LSU against good defenses they got through that offensive line to Joe. If Florida had a good QB LSU would be a 1 loss team.

I expect LSU to win, but half the reason is that I expect Kirby to do something stupid late. I will be surprised if it is an easy game for LSU like many expect. So many want to point to the coot game, but Kinlaw and the one DB had monster games and Fromm stunk up the place. I don't see LSU having that defensive performance in them.

It will be interesting to see that LSU offense against a solid defense. I dont think that Georgia will be able to hold Burrow and the LSU offense to under 20 points, but they can hold them to under 30. Will the UGA offense be able to put up 30 against that weak LSU defense?
The match-ups are intriguing on both sides of the ball imo.

Everyone is so "infatuated" with the LSU offense but won't acknowledge the fact this same exact conference was ran through last year by a dynamic QB and offense. Did that team win it all?
As for Georgia. Their defense is that good. They are athletic enough to pressure Burrow up the middle and get away with it I think. The key with him is making him move his feet. He is so accurate with the football. Like a good 3 pt shooter in basketball; you have to make him move from his spot. Let him sit and he will eat you alive. Auburn was able to make him move his feet - LSU only scored 23 points. Had Auburn had some offense - they win that game.
