LSU avg 49 PPG, 37 against upper competition - why do they

Think they’re suddenly gonna drop 50 on us? Is this just expectations getting carried away due to the long gap between games? I get that they’re good - but As per above, averaging 37 against the better defenses they’ve faced. We can EASILY put up 38 points on them. They don’t seem to realize we don’t have to shut them down to win - we can easily win a 45-40 game.

Keep in mind that Bammy was averaging like 55 points per game last year... The "hot offense" with a only above average D....

If we make it a shootout, we play towards their strength. Play solid football, BV defense and capitalize on our offensive opportunities and we will dominate the game.
