he wasn't very liberal sounding when George W Bush was president. When Bush was president he had Glenn Beck on his show and said he was an intelligent young man. Obama became president and he started calling Glenn Beck a nut. Glenn Beck was always a nut. Chris Matthews was just kissing up to whoever General Electric (which owns NBC and all of it's networks) is cutting campaign checks to. By the way MSNBC is only as liberal as it's military defense contract parent company GE is.

Geraldo has been nothing but an attention ##### for the last thirty years. He has no core political beliefs, he is just in it for money and to go after women 30 years younger than him.
It's kind of ironic how he turned out, since he was once a highly respected journalist back in the 70's.

You may not be liberal as you say, but since you say conservatives are of lower intelligence I would have to deduct from that, that you are not conservative.
Your name calling and use of all caps (internet yelling) tells me your BP is probably up 20 points.

get disproved by facts. When right wingers don't like something name calling is the first thing they resort to. Like calling people communist or socialist just because they don't have a far right wing point of view. They will even call moderate right winger's communists or socialists. Or calling a law unconstitutional when it isn't a far right wing law.

You're correct about the lounge thing…..
Apr 25, 2012, 8:02 PM

but at the same time this would get real nasty once the lungers get involved.
I'm an Obama supporter and I'm concerned where we are headed. Even though the economy is slowing improving, there still needs to be major changes made for long term economic stability and we need to find a way to solve the debt problem. But at the same time these people who think the country is going down this toilet bowl of a road, are highly exaggerating.
If more Americans would get involved in the democratic process, you know like actually voting, and getting behind a candidate you really believe instead of one that you think has the best chance to win, there can be change. If more Americans would tune out the nutty political pundits, then we could have serious discussions about how to get real solutions to problems, instead of insane conspiracy talk and partisan politicking and dirty smear campaigns. Then yes there would be change for the better. If the American media actually did fact based journalism, instead of opinionated punditry, then there wouldn't be as many lies and distortions of the truth on issues affecting the country. And if all Americans got involved in a non partisan campaign to permanently take corporate money out of politics, then yes we would have a less corrupt political system.

calmer than you are
Apr 25, 2012, 9:59 AM
[ in reply to Why do non conservatives ] |

i'm not mad. capitalization was to emphasize the word "all". i see that you capitalized "BP"--are you also mad?
i'm neither liberal nor conservative because i don't feel the need to have my opinion decided for me.
my statement that conservatives are of lower intelligence is rooted in observation and several studies that state so. it's not my fault that you assume i meant that all conservatives are dumber than all liberals--statistically speaking though, a higher percentage of stupid people have a conservative lean. i also know plenty of liberals who are dumber than dirt, and they can't get enough of msnbc.
you've all assumed i'm talking about you personally, when all i was pointing out was that using ratings numbers to justify how one show is "better" in terms of news programs is a useless exercise. when you consider that some of the other highest rated television shows are the real housewive series, jersey shore, and other reality shows were people compete for the affections of an attention #####, it's easy to come to the conclusion that ratings are generated by playing to the lowest common denominator, not necessarily by creating quality programming.
by the way, i wasn't the one that resorted to the name calling. he called me a liberal, not as a description of my political opinions of which he knows absolutely nothing about, but as an implication that i'm a #####, bleeding heart communist. based on the fact that i think his beloved fox news and all other 24 hour news networks are pieces of crap. at least my assertion that he was being an idiot has proof.

BP is capitalized because of it being the acceptable JCAHO abbreviation for blood pressure. "bp" is considered wrong.
I would love to see the studies that say that conservatives are of a lower IQ.
Those reality shows that you mention, what do you think the political lean is of, lets say Jersey Shore? How about the folks that watch these shows?
I am not thinking Tookie or wookie, or whatever that chicks name is on Jersey shore is a conservative. That is just me and my assumptions though.

just pointing out that my capitalizing one word over the course of several posts for emphasis doesn't mean i'm mad. especially since it was done to point out that my opinion about news networks isn't solely directed at fox news based on some sort of anti-conservative agenda as everyone is assuming, but against all networks because they're crap.
if i had to guess, the jersey shore cast is all conservative. they're probably all homophobic, independently wealthy, and opposed to tanning bed legislation because big brother is telling them how what is safe and what isn't regarding their bronzing technique. and yes, i'm joking.

I am commenting the type of people who watch it Jersey Shore) and the reasons they do. And I have seen the show, I just decided quite quickly that I have no use for it.
And back when I was a young, ignorant conservative I watched Fox News daily until I snapped out of it.

Those on each on of the typical parties are. Shot, even the Tea Party has been infiltrated by these scum suckers. Nikki Haley comes to my mind for starters. Endorsing Mitt, cause she needs a friend in the White House. Did she forget what she ran on Nikki or did she forget that Dr Paul is Tea Party's father figure/would be a real friend in the White House. She is no different than the buddy buddy guys she said needed to broke up, and like others used the Tea Party. Typical "change" to get elected.

He's spot on, the media tells folks he can't win, but his polls show he can beat Obama. He is beating Mitt as well. Paul gets votes from all parties and stands on giving us our country back. Those who have us hijacked do not want that, so they use the media to make people think differently. Mitt is an extension of Obama, just like Obama is of Bush.

Apr 25, 2012, 10:16 AM

They are passionate and loyal.
Rather he could or would, the perception is that he would not win a general election. The liberal media would tear him apart.
We do not have a nation of voters that cannot be persuaded by what they hear from third party contributors.

There was over 4,300 people standing in the cold Philly rain to hear Dr. Paul speek 2 days. No other GOP Candidate has as much support as Ron. Paul wins both the GOP & Presidency if voter fraud is not the case.
Paul already has: Alaska, Colorado, Minnesota, & Iowa, & states like Washington, Maine, Virgina, Rhode Island, ect (Virgin Islands) are in qustion. Heck, even Florida isn't sown up for Romney. The media lies and are extremely lazy in the show of all this for cryin out loud.

He isn't going to win anything.

He can't win.
He's too extreme. He isn't even getting press coverage now because he keeps coming in too low in primary after primary- after primary.

Most consider him wacko because Mainstream media tells them to think he is.
Which goes back to a previous point made by a poster above.

I saw Ron Paul all over the place in the last 5 months.
I saw him on some 17+ national tv debates - and I saw him repeatedly come in 3rd and 4th in primary after primary.

Tea Party has been a fake movement the whole entire time….
Apr 25, 2012, 7:47 PM
[ in reply to We need to be one of the same. ] |

It was started by the Billionaire industrialist Koch brothers as a fake grass roots campaign that tried to distance itself the republican party, because the republican party was so unpopular because of President Bush and Republican members of Congress. The tea party wasn't some new movement, it was just republicans who were afraid to admit they were republican, because of the unpopularity of the party and the huge failure of George W Bush as President.

Ingram may be liberal or conservative. Who cares.
Ingram can't say what position he will play because he's being looked at as a DE and/or a linebacker. Why would he say what he's going to play and limit himself before the draft. That would be silly. He's answering questions exactly like his agent has told him to do.

You must have to be "enlightened" to stand with a group of other people with signs outside of a rich persons office demanding they give you money...this is all while standing in/around human fecal matter and urine. (aka Occupy Wallstreet)
I will stick with the dumb ole conservatives on this one

engineers and the like who are awesome at math and problem-solving about finite matters...but are just lacking at complex circumspection.
Math brained people can make a ton of money and shape the world, but alot of them have to rely on tradition when it comes to extremely complicated matters like politics, philosophy and perception. Many math-brainers are uncomfortable with the reality that nothing about existence can be proved. Many people need a sense of security and being sure.
Sometimes that is why you see conservatives being rigid and usually following the path of the community/family they were raised in. Also conservatives tend to suck at the understanding of things that are extremely different than them.
But calling them usually of lower intelligence is wrong because there are many types of intelligence.

There fixed it for you.
It's not just that one show. Makes me sick seeing the media scum sale the viewers short for personal gain.
FOX fired Napolitano for the "What if", which the answer is this has/is happening.
I hope Ron Paul upsets the GOP's fraudulent ticket of Mitt Romney, and selects Andrew Napolitano as VP!!!

If you look at all the organizations that represent the left like PETA,ACLU,Women's rights, and so on you will see who the nut jobs really are. The right is supported by groups like the NRA,Chamber of Commerce. Just saying!

There are just as many nut job organizations that support the so called "right".
Which is why I stay away from both and follow my own philosophy. Besides neither right or elft is conservative anymore.
